Seo In Guk just shared one of his most embarrassing dating stories — and it’s painfully awkward.

The incident happened when Seo In Guk confessed his feelings to an older girl while they were riding a Ferris wheel. Romantic setting? Sure. But the outcome? Not so much.

On the latest episode of SBS’s My Little Old Boy, Seo In Guk appeared with Kang Mina and Bae Yoo Ram to talk about love lives. Bae Yoo Ram mentioned past rejections and asked Seo if he’d ever been turned down. Seo surprised everyone with a blunt response:

“I’ve had so many.”

He then recalled the Ferris wheel incident in detail.

“As soon as we got on the Ferris wheel, I said, ‘Noona, I have something to tell you.’ I told her like a man, sang for her, and asked her to go out with me.”

The girl rejected him, insisting they stay just “noona and dongsaeng” (friends). Seo played it cool:

“Of course.”

But it got even more awkward. For the rest of the ride, he just stared out the window.

“I just sat there and looked out the window the whole ride until we got off the wheel.”

Kang Mina called the whole scene “suffocating.” Seo also gave a dating tip from this experience: never confess through a song.

“That’s why whenever someone says they’re going to confess by playing the piano or singing or whatever, I do everything in my power to stop them. Women don’t actually like it at all!”

Kang Mina agreed, saying confessions with piano or singing make her cringe too.
