DAY6 Releases Scenic Posters for Upcoming Music Road Trip Film ‘6 Days’ Heading to Theaters
DAY6 is stepping into a new territory with their first-ever music road trip film, 6 Days, set to hit theaters across South Korea this August. The film captures the band members Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon as they embark on a six-day road trip through a vast desert somewhere near Los Angeles. During this trip, which took place in late May, the group experienced unexpected encounters and unique challenges while reflecting on their decade-long journey in the music industry.
Unlike a typical concert movie, 6 Days brings together impressive live performances, sweeping desert landscapes, and a heartfelt narrative all woven through DAY6’s well-loved songs. Fans will also get a treat with fresh acoustic versions of some of the band’s biggest hits, making this film a multi-layered experience beyond just music.
The project is a joint effort, co-produced by MBC and DEJONG FILM, with CGV and CJ 4DPLEX coming on board as both investors and distributors. For viewers who want an extra immersive experience, the film will be available in SCREENX, 4DX, and ULTRA 4DX formats in theaters. Following its domestic release, global screenings are planned later this year, and more details can be found on the official site: day6incinemas.com.
In addition to this exciting film launch, DAY6 is gearing up to connect with fans through their 4th fan meeting, titled Pier 10: All My Days. These events will take place over two weekends—from July 18 to 20 and July 25 to 27—at the Jamsil Indoor Arena in Seoul, giving fans plenty of chances to celebrate six memorable days with the group.
