Doyoung began by warmly greeting fans, acknowledging that it’s been a while since he shared such a serious post. He expressed an understanding of the frustration and disappointment felt by fans, particularly regarding NCT 127’s upcoming plans.
“I know that many of you feel frustrated over NCT 127’s future plans,” he wrote. “It may sound like an excuse, but we are thinking very carefully about our path forward during this time of absence.”
The idol also touched on the hot topic of the encore concert, which has been a significant point of contention among fans. While he clarified he isn’t directly involved in the planning, Doyoung reassured followers that both the members and the company put in substantial effort to make it happen, despite the disappointing outcome.
“I just felt that those efforts should not disappear so quickly just because the results were unsatisfactory,” he added, making it clear that open communication about these issues is vital.
Doyoung further emphasized the unity within NCT 127, reiterating that no member prioritizes personal gain over the team. “There is not a single member who holds the team back because of their personal greed,” he stated. “We are always debating on the future of NCT 127. Trust me, we will make it happen.”
The post comes on the heels of a protest movement initiated by some fans earlier this week after SM Entertainment announced its ‘Music Line-Up Preview’ for the latter half of 2025. The new schedule featured upcoming solo projects from members like Doyoung and Haechan, which left fans calling for a clearer plan for NCT 127, including requests for an encore concert in Seoul and a comeback.
