Enhypen Delivers Intense Pursuit of Identity and Desire in “Outside” Music Video
ENHYPEN dropped the music video for "Outside," a follow-up track from their sixth mini album, DESIRE : UNLEASH, right at midnight on the 23rd through HYBE LABELS’ YouTube channel. This video tells a gripping story where a shadowy version of oneself, born from desire, begins to invade the real world and stir up chaos. What follows is an intense chase to contain this darker self, blurring the lines between identity and temptation.
This release comes on the heels of some serious momentum for ENHYPEN. Their latest album, DESIRE : UNLEASH, sold 2.14 million copies in its first week alone, making it the second-highest first-week sales for a K-pop album this year. The album also climbed to No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard 200, cementing ENHYPEN as one of the leading figures in contemporary K-pop.
The group’s world tour, ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR ‘WALK THE LINE’, is keeping up the energy as well. Just two days before the video dropped, on the 21st, ENHYPEN performed at Thailand’s largest venue, the Rajamangala National Stadium, playing in front of a massive crowd of 30,000 fans.
Looking ahead, the group is set to make a significant mark in Japan by performing in stadiums there for the first time since their debut nearly five years ago—specifically, after 4 years and 7 months. They’re aiming to become the foreign artist to hit this milestone in the shortest amount of time, an impressive feat given their rapid rise.
With their music, performances, and visuals all pushing boundaries, ENHYPEN shows no signs of slowing down. The "Outside" video alone gives a dark, thrilling glimpse into their evolving artistry, making it clear why they’re standing out in the crowded K-pop scene.
