ENHYPEN’s Agency Takes Legal Measures Against Stalkers And Malicious Trolls
BELIFT LAB, the agency behind ENHYPEN, issued a strong warning on June 30 through Weverse about taking all necessary legal steps to protect the group from stalking and malicious online attacks.
The agency revealed a particularly serious incident where some individuals illegally entered the artists’ residence and recorded them without permission. This clearly falls under stalking, and right after learning about it, BELIFT LAB reported the incident to police, pressing charges including unlawful entry and violations of the Act on Punishment of Stalking Crimes. The suspects were arrested on the spot and are now being investigated. The agency is working closely with law enforcement to make sure the offenders face full legal consequences.
Alongside the physical stalking case, BELIFT LAB also addressed online abuse. They confirmed having gathered plenty of evidence of defamatory posts targeting ENHYPEN, including insults, mockery, personal slurs, sexual harassment, and false rumors. The agency has officially reported these online attackers to investigative authorities.
"Despite multiple official warnings requesting a halt to the invasion of our artists’ privacy, the situation has not improved. In fact, the severity of the actions has worsened. As a result, the psychological and physical harm inflicted on the artists has reached an extreme level. To protect ENHYPEN, we will respond strongly, including through legal means." BELIFT LAB
The agency made clear that nationality doesn’t matter—they will pursue legal action against anyone breaking the law and affecting ENHYPEN’s rights, with no leniency or settlements offered.
"Regardless of nationality, we will pursue legal responsibility without any leniency or settlement for all illegal actions that infringe on the rights of our artists." BELIFT LAB
" We have collected substantial evidence of defamatory posts and comments that damage the honor and personal rights of our artists. This includes excessive insults, mockery, personal attacks, sexual harassment, and the spreading of baseless falsehoods. We have filed official complaints with investigative authorities against all perpetrators involved." BELIFT LAB
" We sincerely thank ENGENEs for your continued love and support. BELIFT LAB will continue to do everything in our power to protect ENHYPEN’s rights and well-being." BELIFT LAB
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN is gearing up to connect with fans abroad. Their world tour, WALK THE LINE IN JAPAN -SUMMER EDITION-, will kick off with concerts on July 5–6 at Tokyo’s Ajinomoto Stadium, followed by shows on August 2–3 at Osaka’s Yanmar Stadium Nagai.
