Fans Request Refund Following Sudden Cancellation of Event by Popular K-Pop Group
ENHYPEN is facing major backlash after canceling their fan video call event just two hours before it was supposed to happen.
The group announced the event would be postponed due to “the poor condition of all the members.” Fans were left scrambling as plans were suddenly changed with no clear reschedule date.
The controversy deepened when refunds were denied. The event organizer stated sales were complete and no refunds would be given, as per the purchase policy.
“This event has already completed sales and the raffle draw. As written on the purchase site, there will be no refunds for changes or cancellations of the event.
Test calls on the day of the video call are mandatory; if they are not completed, the winner will be unable to hold the video call. We are currently discussing the new schedule and apologize for not being able to announce it sooner. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we thank you for your understanding.”
Fans exploded online over the strict no-refund policy and sudden schedule shifts.

We don’t even know how many members are sick, yet it’s okay to just cancel the event and change the schedule. If the fan can’t make it to the newly scheduled date, they are just throwing away thousands. If the fans can’t pick up the test call on the date they choose, they are throwing money away. They said the time on the app was just set to any time.
