G-Dragon and BLACKPINK’s Rosé Join Psy for Unexpected Appearance at ‘Summer Swag 2025’ Concert
The opening night of Psy’s Summer Swag 2025 concert tour kicked off on June 28 at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium with a big surprise: special guest appearances from G-Dragon and BLACKPINK’s Rosé. The tour, known for its lively energy, cool water effects, and star-studded guest lineup, got an extra boost with these unexpected performances.
Rosé was the first to hit the stage, delivering a set that included her popular tracks "APT." and "Toxic Till the End," which got the audience buzzing. It was her first big in-person meeting with fans since her solo debut last year, and she made sure to express her gratitude before leaving.
"“I’m so happy to be invited to the ‘Summer Swag 2025’ something I had only imagined before," Rosé said to the crowd. "Since releasing my first solo album last year, this is my first time meeting so many fans in person. Thank you for all the love you’ve shown to my album and to ‘APT.’ I truly appreciate it,”" she added, bowing deeply.
Following her closing number, "Dance All Night," Psy opened up about inviting Rosé to the show.
"She contacted me first saying she wanted to attend the show, so I invited her to perform. She even came to the rehearsal studio to practice. Even though she’s my junior, I learned a lot from her," Psy shared warmly.
Later on, G-Dragon made his entrance wearing a casual look—hat, glasses, long sleeves, and jeans—bringing high energy with performances of his solo hits "POWER" and "Home Sweet Home." After the set, he greeted fans and reflected on his return to the stage at this event.
"Yes, I’m Kwon Ji Yong and I’m also G-Dragon. It’s really been a long time. I’m currently on a world tour after 88 months, but I came here to celebrate with my big brother Psy," he said with a smile.
He went on to remark on the unique weather and nostalgic feelings from the concert.
"Strangely, it didn’t rain today, but we’ve still got water here. I didn’t even realize this was my second time at the ‘Summer Swag 2025.’ I first appeared 12 years ago. I never imagined I’d be back here with so many of you. It’s great to see you again. I’m G-Dragon."
To wrap up his performance, G-Dragon chose to keep it short and sweet.
"Normally I perform 30 songs, but since this is Psy’s party and he has so many iconic tracks, I’ll just perform one more to finish," he said before closing with a powerful rendition of "Crayon."
Since it launched in 2011, Psy’s Summer Swag tour has become one of South Korea’s biggest summer events. It’s famous for grand-scale shows, exciting performances, and a rotating lineup of surprise guests that keep fans coming back year after year. This season, Psy is set to hold 16 concerts across nine different cities, including Uijeongbu, Daejeon, Gwacheon, Sokcho, Suwon, Daegu, Busan, and Gwangju, continuing the tradition of bringing summer vibes nationwide.
