Yeji has already showcased her solo potential with Crown on My Head, a track from ITZY’s 2024 album BORN TO BE. The song highlighted her powerful stage presence, offering a glimpse of what fans can expect from her solo project. JYP Entertainment described Yeji as a “performance queen” and encouraged fans to anticipate her unique charm as a solo artist.
ITZY, a five-member group under JYP Entertainment, debuted in 2019 with the hit single DALLA DALLA. Known for their energetic performances, the group has consistently delivered chart-topping tracks like ICY, WANNABE, and Not Shy. Last year, they released their ninth mini-album, GOLD, featuring dual-title tracks GOLD and Imaginary Friend, which further demonstrated their versatility in the competitive K-pop landscape.
Yeji’s solo debut marks a significant milestone for ITZY, as she becomes the first member to venture into a solo career. Fans are eagerly awaiting her new chapter, which promises to highlight her individual artistry while maintaining the group’s signature energy.
