IVE Achieves New Milestone at Lollapalooza Paris with Dynamic Performance

IVE took over the MAIN EAST stage at Lollapalooza Paris on July 20 at 7 p.m. local time, delivering a powerful set that lasted about an hour at the Hippodrome ParisLongchamp. Their presence lit up the festival and confirmed their steady climb in the global music scene.
This appearance marks a historic achievement for IVE, as they became the first K-pop girl group invited back to Lollapalooza for two years in a row, performing not just in Paris but also in Chicago last year and Berlin earlier this year. It’s a milestone that highlights their growing international influence.
The group made a striking impression right from the start with their edgy, punk-inspired looks — think burgundy and black outfits decorated with chains, leather, and metal accents. The styling managed to balance individuality and group cohesion, setting the stage for a magnetic show. Their visuals and commanding energy quickly won over the crowd.
Opening their set with “REBEL HEART,” IVE faced a hiccup during “I AM” when a technical sound issue arose. Despite the glitch, the members stayed calm and professional, finishing the performance without missing a beat. To give fans the best experience possible, they even went back and re-did both songs flawlessly afterward.
Yujin’s leadership stood out in that moment, steering the group through smoothly. Building on the heightened excitement, they moved into hits like “Baddie,” “LOVE DIVE,” “ATTITUDE,” and “Kitsch.” Their vocals shone even more thanks to the live band, and their polished stage presence kept the crowd clapping throughout their energetic performance.
Through their agency, Starship Entertainment, IVE expressed their gratitude after the show:
“From preparing for Lollapalooza to standing on stage and interacting with the audience, every moment was incredibly joyful and meaningful. We sincerely thank our global DIVE (official fan club) and local fans for the warm welcome, and we’re deeply grateful to those supporting us from Korea as well. We’ll continue to work hard to show you even better performances.” IVE
Looking ahead, IVE is set to appear at the opening match of the ‘2025 Coupang Play Series’ on July 30. They will perform during halftime and take part in the ceremonial kickoff at Suwon World Cup Stadium, where Team K-League faces Newcastle United.
IVE’s recent achievements at Lollapalooza underline their rise on the world music stage and their growing bond with fans worldwide. Fans can expect more exciting moments from the group in the near future.
