IVE Launches ‘MINIVE SCHOOL’ Pop-Up in Seoul

IVE has taken the K-pop world by storm with the launch of their pop-up event, ‘MINIVE SCHOOL in SEOUL’, dedicated to showcasing their original character line, ‘MINIVE’. Running from May 22 to June 1, this vibrant event is being hosted at Lotte World Mall, with two locations: the Atrium on the first floor and the Cine Park on the seventh floor of the Lotte Cinema World Tower.
The ‘MINIVE’ characters, crafted to encapsulate the unique personalities of each IVE member, have been met with immense enthusiasm. Members took a hands-on approach in naming their characters. An Yujin introduced GANGANJI, Gaeul named DAL-E, Rei brought forth NAORI, while Jang Wonyoung designed CHERRY. Completing the lineup, Liz unveiled CHEEZ, and Leeseo added ERANG-E.

Within the Atrium, fans can dive into a merchandise store that’s open to pre-registered visitors, as well as an interactive experience zone filled with booths themed around the characters. Meanwhile, the Cine Park location houses another merchandise shop that operates on a reservation-only basis. The excitement doesn’t stop there; fans are treated to life-size silhouettes of the group members, handprint illustrations, and various themed activities that breathe life into the ‘MINIVE’ universe. Recently restocked popular plush dolls are flying off the shelves alongside new exclusive merchandise, generating high turnout and positive vibes from attendees.

In a delightful addition, IVE unveiled a special ‘MINIVE’ version of their music video for ‘ATTITUDE’ on May 24. This animated take closely follows iconic moments from the original, including the beloved “Wonyoung turn” and the charming “guinea pig dash,” capturing fans’ attention with its adorable and precise choreography.
The group’s dedicated fandom, known as DIVE, has been buzzing with excitement and sharing glowing feedback about the pop-up both online and in person. For more details and updates on this enchanting event, be sure to check out the official social media channels for IVE and MINIVE.
