J-Hope of BTS Participates in Early Voting for South Korea’s Presidential Election
J-Hope Casts His Vote for the 21st Presidential Election
On May 29, J-Hope took to social media to share a moment of civic engagement, revealing that he participated in the early voting for the upcoming presidential election in South Korea. The BTS member visited a polling station located in Oksu-dong during the initial voting phase.
In light of recent controversies surrounding celebrities’ fashion choices and their perceived political implications, J-Hope chose to dress in all black for his outing. To further mitigate potential misinterpretations, he sported a black hat, mask, and t-shirt, signaling a thoughtful approach to his appearance.
The early voting process for the 21st presidential election runs over two days, concluding on May 30. Polling stations will be open from 6 AM until 6 PM, allowing individuals to cast their ballots at any designated early voting location as long as they present valid identification.
Looking ahead, J-Hope is preparing to release his new digital single titled "Killin’ It Girl (feat. GloRilla)" on June 13 at 1 PM KST. He has also scheduled the ‘j-hope Tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ FINAL’ at the main stadium of Goyang Sports Complex in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang, for July 13–14, where fans will get their first live experience of his new track.
