J-Hope Wraps Up Asia Tour with Sold-Out Dome Performances and Upcoming Encore
J-Hope of BTS has wrapped up the Asia leg of his solo world tour with a bang, hosting two sold-out concerts at Kyocera Dome in Osaka on May 31st and June 1st. Over the course of these two days, an impressive crowd of more than 80,000 fans filled the venue. To amplify this excitement, the concerts were also streamed live in cinemas across 70 countries, highlighting J-Hope’s pull on a global level.
These Osaka performances marked the grand finale of his ‘J-Hope Tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’, which kicked off in February at KSPO DOME in Seoul. Spanning 15 cities in both North America and Asia, the tour consisted of 31 performances that collectively attracted around 470,000 attendees. This achievement underscores J-Hope’s growing status as a solo artist.
Opening his setlist, J-Hope electrified the audience with tracks from his debut solo album ‘Jack In The Box’, including "What if… " and "Pandora’s Box." With palpable energy, he addressed the crowd:
"This is the final stop of my overseas tour. I’m honored to share this moment with you. Let’s make this night unforgettable."
The concert featured a vibrant mix of tracks from his special album ‘HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1’. Performances of "Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)" and "MONA LISA" showcased his range as an artist, bringing different moods to the stage.
The night heated up further with a medley of BTS hits, where the Japanese versions of "MIC Drop," "Baepsae," and "Dis-ease" resulted in roaring cheers from the excited fans.
Reflecting on this incredible journey, J-Hope shared:
"This tour was a major challenge and a dream come true. It’s a beautiful memory I’ll never forget. I’ve truly felt the love of ARMY around the world. You are the real stars of this tour. I promise I’ll be back."
This tour is significant as it marks J-Hope’s first solo world tour in his 12 years of music career. The title ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ is a celebration of his aspirations and dreams fulfilled through performance.
Looking ahead, J-Hope is set to bring fans another treat with an encore concert titled ‘J-Hope Tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ FINAL’ at Goyang Stadium in Gyeonggi Province on June 13th and 14th. Notably, on the first day, he will release a new digital single, Killin It Girl (feat. GloRilla), and perform it live for the very first time at the encore show.
