J.Y. Park Maintains a Persistent Critique of TWICE’s Mina

TWICE’s Mina keeps getting called out by JYP himself for one quirky habit during concerts.

The controversy began when Mina shared in a Vanity Fair interview that Park Jin Young, JYP Entertainment’s founder, always tells her to fix her walk. Fans and her members quickly caught on to what she meant.

Mina’s “worst habit” is walking with her feet facing outwards—what they jokingly call the “penguin walk.” Chaeyoung was the first to shout out the answer when Mina’s members had to guess her bad habit.

Mina said this happens often during TWICE concerts, and Park Jin Young notices it every time.

“This is feedback I get from JYP every time he visits our concerts. He always says I have to fix my walk.”

Nayeon backed Mina up, saying she sees it clearly when Mina moves to sing at the front of the stage.

“That’s true. I’ve seen it when it sticks out. Whenever Mina comes out to sing, I can see it well.”

Chaeyoung felt bad for Mina, saying it’s not an easy thing to control.

“But sometimes you can’t help that. Even I do it.”

Fans are calling it cute, though. This little “penguin walk” saga is getting some laughs.
