Jin Fills Kyocera Dome for Solo World Tour

Jin made waves in Japan with his very first solo dome concert, selling out Osaka’s Kyocera Dome on July 12 as part of his world tour, RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR. Not a single seat was left empty—including those with limited views high up—as ticket demand blew past expectations. The organizer’s decision to open every possible spot just shows how huge Jin’s solo pull is right now.
That’s not the only sign of his popularity. Japanese media wasted no time celebrating the event: top sports newspapers like Sports Nippon, Daily Sports, Nikkan Sports, Sports Hochi, and Sankei Sports all splashed Jin across their front pages the day of and after the show. Fans lined up early not only to score limited-edition goods and those commemorative papers but also to grab items Jin endorses, including Jin Ramen and Eye Gene, which quickly sold out at major shopping centers around Osaka.
Jin’s stage game was just as impressive. With his hair slicked back to reveal his forehead—the look his fans love—the “god of beauty” delivered crystal-clear live vocals. His voice easily moved between powerful highs and rich lows, complementing his smooth, confident performance that kept the dome buzzing with energy. Known as a “live king” and for his deep affection for fans, Jin didn’t hold back, making meaningful moments throughout the night that resonated with everyone there.
Fans worldwide jumped into the celebration, too. On X (formerly Twitter), keywords like KIM SEOKJIN and #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR quickly climbed to top global trends. The fan base RUN WITH SEOKJIN (@RUNWITH_SEOKJIN) showed their support by driving LED trucks with Jin’s videos around Osaka, while JINJAPAN FANBASE (@JP_Jinfanbase) sponsored a cruise boat ad on the city’s waterways during both concert days.
Following the show, Jin surprised fans by hopping onto Weverse for a live chat, sharing real-time moments and reinforcing his dedication to ARMY. In Japan, his popularity has even earned him the affectionate nickname “Japan is JINLAND.”
The July 12 Osaka concert was also available beyond the dome, thanks to a Live Viewing broadcast. Fans in 43 CGV theaters across South Korea, along with cinemas in 10 other countries and regions, got to experience the show simultaneously. The following night’s concert, on July 13, will be livestreamed worldwide through Weverse, so no one misses out.
RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, which started in Korea on June 28, marks Jin’s first solo world tour. He’s already completed two concerts in Chiba before heading to Osaka and will move on to cities like Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, Newark, London, and Amsterdam. Across 18 shows in total, Jin is set to make history by becoming the first K-pop solo artist to headline a show at London’s O2 Arena, a massive milestone for the genre.
