Jin of BTS Announces Role as President of Cold Raw Fish Soup Promotion Association

Jin of BTS is set to make a notable return to JTBC’s popular show Please Take Care of My Refrigerator on July 20, airing at 9 PM KST. This will be his first solo appearance on the program since BTS appeared as a group back in 2017, marking an eight-year gap.
During the upcoming episode, Jin will open up about his love for cooking and reveal what’s tucked away in his refrigerator. The show’s chef Edward Lee shared a warm moment ahead of the broadcast, saying,
"I just flew 15-hours to meet Jin. My daughter is a huge fan of BTS. I even practiced a dance challenge with her."
Jin responded by praising Edward’s culinary skills:
"I admired the dish you made where you depicted your entire life."
Besides sharing his fridge secrets and chatting about food, Jin surprised everyone with an interesting tidbit about his passions outside music. The BTS member disclosed he’s the president of the Association for the Promotion of Cold Raw Fish Soup, which aims to get more people to enjoy mulhoe, a Korean cold raw fish soup. What’s even more unexpected is that Jin recently recommended mulhoe to the Hollywood star Tom Cruise. Jin said,
"I wanted more people to know the delicious taste of mulhoe (Korean cold raw fish soup), so I founded the Association for the Promotion of Cold Raw Fish Soup. I am active as its president. As president, I recently recommended mulhoe to Tom Cruise."
Fans and viewers will get to see all the details and surprises inside Jin’s refrigerator, along with his cooking stories and interactions, this Sunday on Please Take Care of My Refrigerator. This appearance not only highlights Jin’s culinary interests but also gives viewers a fresh glimpse of the BTS star outside the music stage.
