Joyful Idol Reveals She Made the First Move on Her Husband Due to His Attractive, Actor-Like Appearance

Song Jieun revealed she was the first to make a move in her relationship with husband Park We on SBS’s Same Bed, Different Dreams Season 2.

The controversy began around her admission that she pursued him first. Song Jieun said she liked Park We because he looked like actor Park Jung Min.

“To me, he looks like actor Park Jung Min. He’s the Yongsan Park Jung Min. Honestly, I think the reason I became interested in him was because of his face.”

When asked who liked who first, Song Jieun didn’t hesitate.

“I think it was me. It was my first time making a move on a man. I contacted him first and did things like that, so I think it was because I liked him first.”

Park We chimed in with how they first met—at church. Because Park We uses a wheelchair, he was sitting alone at the back.

“Suddenly, she brought over a chair and asked, ‘Oppa, can I sit next to you?’”

Park We also admitted he was hoping for a birthday message from Song Jieun. When she sent it, he finally asked her out.

“I was hoping I’d get a birthday message from Jieun, and, like a lie, she really did contact me! I lost my mind there and asked, ‘A movie I like just came out. When are you free?’”

Their first date was watching Suzume, though Park We joked he was so distracted all he remembered was “Suzume closing some doors?!”

They married in October 2024 and still get lots of support for their love story.
