K-Drama Celebrity Pair Reveals Plans for Starting a Family

Kim Ga Eun and Yoon Sun Woo are already preparing for children just four months after tying the knot.

The couple announced their plans on February 25 through Kim Ga Eun’s personal channel.

Kim Ga Eun revealed the news herself.

“It’s a bit of a TMI, but we’re currently preparing for children.”

She explained how the idea wasn’t always on their minds.

“Neither of us had given it much thought originally, but we started thinking, ‘Maybe now is the time?’ or ‘Won’t we have a child someday?’ Even a few months ago, it felt like such a distant topic.”

When asked if the timing felt urgent, Kim Ga Eun said:

“Is it urgent now? We’ve already done prenatal testing, and the hospital said this is probably the best time. I think so too. We’re going to prepare slowly.”

She added she’s handling the prep side of things.

“I’m the one booking the appointments and preparing supplements, which I’m giving to Yoon Sun Woo. If there’s any good news about Yoon Sun Woo’s good genes, I’ll let you know.”

The couple married on October 26 last year after nearly 10 years of secret dating. They met while filming the KBS 2TV drama Dandelion Family, which ended in 2015.
