He explained she is actually forbidden from trading stocks because of strict rules tied to her job.

A stock expert on the show clarified:

“While some financial industry employees are allowed to trade stocks, they must report their activity regularly and follow internal regulations. Positions with access to sensitive or non-public information, however, are completely prohibited from stock trading, and sharing such information privately is illegal.”
