Nam Bo Ra just announced she’s a mom!

The actress revealed on June 17 that she gave birth to her first child, a baby boy, on June 15. She shared heartfelt photos from the hospital, smiling as she held her newborn.

Nam Bo Ra wrote on Instagram about her son’s calm nature.

“Kongal came into the world on June 15. Maybe he’s on his second life because he’s adapting so calmly.”

She also gave fans a look at her recovery after childbirth.

Her birth plan changed suddenly when doctors found low amniotic fluid during her final prenatal checkup.

Natural and induced labor were both ruled out. Doctors warned waiting longer could risk the baby’s health.

The result: an emergency cesarean section.

Nam Bo Ra was disappointed she couldn’t have a natural birth but said her baby’s health was the priority.
