Leaked BLACKPINK Comeback Songs Ignite Massive Backlash

BLACKPINK is facing backlash over their upcoming mini-album tracklist revealed February 5.

The comeback album, titled DEADLINE, drops February 27. The mini-album contains five tracks, including previously released single “Jump,” title track “Go,” and a b-side called “Fxxxboy.”

Fans quickly noticed three out of the five songs—“Jump,” “Me and my girls,” and “Champion”—had leaked last year. YG Entertainment confirmed these leaks are real by filing copyright claims.

This sparked a wave of fan criticism. Many called the album rollout “lazy” with only five tracks and most songs already leaked. Others slammed the lyrics to “Me and my girls,” calling them misogynistic.

“hide your man we aint playin when i call her a bitch that’s a compliment” the bravery to release a song like me and my girls but i’m not surprised this is the misogynistic girl group

Soooo two leaked songs (which sounded awful and cringe), a previously released single and two “new” songs in total? WowThis is how they love their BP fans? Please disband, it’s ok, things end. You’ve moved on so let’s stop pretending. You may not like it, but facts are facts

The controversy began as fans feared the mini-album might not live up to expectations after a long wait since BLACKPINK’s world tour ended. The team had pushed back their comeback from 2025, releasing “Jump” earlier instead.
