Male Idol Overwhelms Fans With Excessive Unreleased Content, Fellow Members Plead For Restraint
Lee Seok Hoon is facing backlash over spoiling too much unreleased content — and he’s not even alone.
On his web series SSULPLY, Lee Seok Hoon teamed up with SHINee’s Key to visit SM Entertainment and talk with staff. That’s when the big spoiler drama came out.
Key asked Red Velvet’s manager Choi Byung Jong about idols leaking too much info early. Choi explained the company’s strict rules to prevent false expectations during album prep. But one idol keeps breaking those rules.
That idol is Taemin.
Choi said Taemin spoils “quite often” and goes way beyond, sharing “very detailed” spoilers. Staff and members want him to stop because it’s out of control.
Key joked Taemin even risks spoiling his members’ solo promotions.
