Min Hee Jin Faces Backlash for Alleged Abandonment of NewJeans Amid Massive Lawsuit

Leaked lawsuit files reveal Min Hee Jin’s response, which shocked fans and sparked accusations that she is abandoning NewJeans.

The former ADOR CEO distanced herself from any creative responsibility, saying she is “not a composer or lyricist” and calling herself a producer with “nothing to do with copyright.

I am not a composer or lyricist, so I am a producer who has nothing to do with copyright. If we dare to interpret this upside down, it can also be seen as meaning that we can work much more without hesitation in the composition and selection of music.

— Min Hee Jin

Fans quickly reacted online, accusing Min Hee Jin of throwing NewJeans under the bus to protect herself legally. Many pointed out the irony of her accepting production credits and awards while now denying any creative involvement.

Then why tf are you even credited as a producer?
