Min Hee Jin Responds to BTS V’s Controversial Message, Persuades Netizens HYBE Was the Source of the Leak

Min Hee Jin is facing backlash over leaked texts involving BTS’s V.
The controversy started when a private KakaoTalk conversation from a lawsuit between HYBE and Min Hee Jin was leaked online.
The texts were supposed to be confidential evidence submitted to the court. Min Hee Jin’s lawyer, Attorney Kim Seong Woo, said they requested strict privacy.
“There is nothing for us to comment on. When the evidence was submitted, we requested that the court keep it private. We do not know through what route the sealed evidence was reported by the media. We believe this is an issue that should be addressed by the media outlet involved and the court.”

Soon after, netizens suspected HYBE leaked the messages, not Min Hee Jin.
Fans said things like:
- “Isn’t it obvious who leaked it? LOL. Do you actually want to believe that Min Hee Jin leaked it herself?”
- “Did HYBE get consent from everyone before spreading their chats to the media?”
- “Just stop it already, HYBE. Ugh.”
- “Who leaked it, seriously?”
- “HYBE looks pathetic from the start. Min Hee Jin just submitted her own chats privately, and the other side submitted worse stuff.”
The leak stirred a heated online debate, with much blame aimed at HYBE.
