MONSTA X’s Kihyun releases English version of ‘So Good’ ahead of North American tour

MONSTA X’s Kihyun released the English version of “So Good” on July 24, Starship Entertainment said.
The song first appeared on July 7 as the title track of his second mini album, ‘BORDERLINE’. The original is a rock-based track driven by building guitar lines and Kihyun’s expressive vocals, with fans noting its soaring high notes and explosive energy in the latter half.
Forbes wrote:
“delivers empathy and resonance through a journey of discovering one’s true self rather than searching for the ‘right’ answer.”
The publication also pointed out Kihyun’s musical range, saying he moves between alternative rock, pop rock, R&B and modern band sounds.
Kihyun promoted “So Good” on music shows over the past two weeks, where fans praised his stable live vocals and expressive performances.
Starship Entertainment said the English version keeps the original mood but uses completely different English lyrics to offer a new take on the same melody. The new version is available on global streaming platforms.
Kihyun said through his agency:
“I’m happy to finally share the English version of ‘So Good’,”
“When I first heard the original demo, I really loved its vibe and wanted to share a version that captured that feeling. Although it has the same melody, the lyrics tell a completely different story, so I think you’ll be able to experience a different atmosphere and charm. I hope you’ll give the English version lots of love as well. Thank you!”
MONSTA X is currently on the ‘2026 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR [THE X : NEXUS]’ and will begin the North American leg of the tour in October.
