NCT Dream and TOMORROW x TOGETHER to Feature as Inaugural Guests on Mnet’s New Reality Show ‘Idol Festa Attack’
Mnet is launching a fresh reality show called Idol School Attack with the goal of boosting both K-pop and small local businesses. This new program, produced by Jo Hye Mi, will bring a K-pop superstar group to surprise locations chosen by fans anywhere in South Korea. The stars won’t just put on a show—they’ll also take part in pop-up events promoting regional specialties and local products, sharing these hidden gems with fans beyond just the music.
The exciting part? The first episodes will feature global K-pop acts NCT Dream and TOMORROW x TOGETHER, who are both gearing up for comebacks—NCT Dream on July 14 and TXT on July 21. These groups will appear at unexpected spots within South Korea sometime in July, performing for local crowds and helping highlight the unique flavors and items from those communities.
Fans won’t have to wait long to see the whole experience on screen since Mnet plans to officially air Idol School Attack in August.
The show’s fresh approach of mixing surprise performances with local business promotion brings a new kind of energy to typical idol projects. It’s basically a win-win: local shops get exposure through big-name artists, and fans get a chance to see their favorite stars up close in unexpected places.
