NCT’s Doyoung Discusses Viral Clip Featuring Well-Known Actress

NCT’s Doyoung finally explained the viral moment from last year’s fashion week where he covered actress Moon Ga Young with his jacket.

Fans remember the clip where Doyoung spots Moon Ga Young wearing a revealing outfit and immediately puts his jacket over her shoulders to keep her comfortable. The moment blew up online, praising his gentlemanly behavior.

Recently, on a YouTube series, Doyoung opened up about the incident and gave some context.

He said his own shirt was a “wrestler-level sleeveless shirt” and he didn’t want to take it off and reveal it. But because Moon Ga Young’s outfit was uncomfortable, he decided to take off his jacket for her.

“My shirt was a wrestler-level sleeveless shirt that was open all the way down to here. But I really didn’t want to take it off (and show the wrestler shirt), but Ga Young was wearing a revealing outfit, so I thought, ‘Should I take it off for her?’ Honestly, I didn’t know that this would become so viral. Look at my expression. It’s so annoying. It would’ve been better if I had just taken it off in a cool way and put it over her, but I looked so awkward.”
