NewJeans’ Danielle Surprises Fans With Recent Action After ADOR’s Legal Case

Danielle is making big moves after her contract termination from ADOR—she just opened a new Xiaohongshu (RedNote) account.
The controversy started after Danielle’s contract with ADOR ended amid a serious dispute. ADOR even filed a lawsuit against her, her family, and ex-CEO Min Hee Jin. Since then, Danielle has been cutting ties with official channels, choosing to speak directly to fans instead.
Soon after launching a fresh Instagram and YouTube channel, and going live to chat with fans, Danielle took it a step further by joining Xiaohongshu—“China’s answer to Instagram.” The platform is popular among K-pop idols for connecting with Chinese fans.
Her new Xiaohongshu account blew up fast, hitting over 30,000 followers within minutes.

Danielle’s bold moves come as she wants to stay close to fans without an agency’s backing. During a recent short live broadcast, she assured fans she’s not done despite the contract fallout.
Bunnies, this isn’t the end. It’s a beginning.
In the days ahead, whether it’s music, silence, or small moments, I want to share them sincerely and beautifully.
— Danielle
Her increasing presence on multiple platforms shows she’s determined to keep her career alive on her own terms.
