Original Leading Man Unveils Stunning Spouse Nearly Two Decades His Junior

Ryu Si Won just dropped major news by revealing his wife’s identity—and fans are going wild.

The 53-year-old actor, known for his huge popularity in the 90s and early 2000s, recently teased a TV Chosun show, giving viewers a first clear look at his wife, who’s been a mystery until now.

This is his second marriage. He divorced his first wife after just over a year back in 2010 and remarried in February 2020.

What’s shocking? His wife is 19 years younger than him. Ryu Si Won opened up about this age gap on a YouTube show earlier in 2024.

The recent TV Chosun teaser revealed the couple attending comedian Yoon Jung Soo’s wedding. The hosts instantly noted the wife’s “celebrity-like” beauty.

Before this, Ryu Si Won introduced his wife as a star mathematics instructor. On SBS’s Dolsing Fourmen in 2024, he described falling for her the first time they met.

“I fell for her at first sight because she was my ideal type, and we naturally exchanged numbers and began dating. But after ten months, we broke up. As my feelings grew stronger, the 19-year age gap and my status as a divorcee weighed heavily on me. I didn’t think I could bear public scrutiny. Three years later, though, after she had achieved her dream of becoming a successful instructor, we crossed paths again. And I fell in love all over again. I mustered up the courage to tell her how I feel and soon, we were back in a relationship.”
