Rain Stuns With New Rules for His Daughters’ Dating

Rain opened up about his daughters and strict dating rules on SBS’s Uh, But Like, Seriously! on the 11th, catching attention.

He made it clear: family comes first. Rain talked about going to his kids’ sports day and even teaming up with singer Jung Suk Won, dad of Baek Ji Young’s daughter, for a tug-of-war battle.

“Before the tug-of-war, Jung Suk Won and I made up our minds, saying ‘Let’s make sure our kids win no matter what today.’ The opposing dads didn’t look that big, but once the tug-of-war started, their coordination was at a Physical 100 level,” Rain recalled.

Despite their lack of coordination, they pulled hard, wrapped the rope around their hands, and won. But the daughters were just eating snacks, he joked.

When asked if his kids know he’s Rain, he said he takes them to concerts so they can see him on stage, and they really like it.

The conversation turned to dating rules when Lee Sang Min asked what he would do if his daughters brought home boyfriends. Rain answered:

“I’m firm about that. No dating in middle and high school. They have to bring someone home when they’re adults.”

He joked about his own experience with dating young:

“I didn’t date in middle or high school either,” he said with a smile, calling it a “white lie.”
