Renowned Singer Suddenly Cancels Over 17 Shows in a Single Year, Causing Backlash

Soojin is facing major setbacks with multiple concert and tour cancellations in just over a year.

The controversy began in October last year when organizer EVERLINE canceled Soojin’s Summer Daze North America tour before tickets were even on sale, citing “unavoidable circumstances” without any details.

Soon after, the tour was rescheduled as Re:Summer Daze with 15 dates across the US and Canada. That, too, was canceled.

In August 2025, organizer Abridge officially scrapped Re:Summer Daze North America again, blaming “unforeseen circumstances” and stressing it wasn’t related to Soojin’s health.

Then, on November 9, BRD Entertainment announced Soojin’s Shanghai fan meeting Meet You for November 15 was canceled due to local issues and other factors.

Just days later, on November 20, Soojin’s Re:Summer Daze concert in Hong Kong, set for December 12, was canceled by organizer DLLM—also citing “unavoidable circumstances.” The news was shared via a new X (Twitter) account made just for the update.

Ticket sales are suspected to be part of the problem. Two and a half months before the North American tour, sales were below 50%. Cities like Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Atlanta had sold less than 30%. Dallas had only hit 9.5% of its 905-seat capacity.

Fans are blasting BRD Entertainment for poor promotion and almost no communication about the repeated cancellations. They want answers.
