Rosé From BLACKPINK Set To Perform At The Grammy Awards

Rosé is set to take the stage at the 68th Grammy Awards after her historic nominations.

The Recording Academy announced on January 29 that Rosé will perform at the ceremony on February 1 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Rosé is nominated in three major categories: Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her hit “APT.”

This marks the first time a K-pop song has been nominated in the General Field — the top Grammy categories including Song and Record of the Year. It’s also the first time a K-pop female artist has reached this milestone.

The industry is watching closely as Rosé could become the first to win in these categories.

Alongside Rosé, HYBE and Geffen Records’ global girl group KATSEYE snagged nominations for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. They will also perform a special stage with the other eight Best New Artist nominees.

The 68th Grammy Awards will air live on Mnet at 9:55 AM KST on February 2.

“Rosé will perform at the 68th Grammy Awards,” the Recording Academy said.

“This is the first time a K-pop song has been nominated in the General Field,” industry commentators added.

Rosé is making history at the Grammys, and all eyes are on her February 1 performance.
