Seventeen Appointed As New Brand Ambassador for Bibigo Global
Seventeen has been announced as the first-ever brand ambassador for CJ CheilJedang’s Bibigo global, according to a statement released on May 19. This partnership aims to launch a global campaign focused on reaching international consumers, particularly Gen Z. The campaign, titled “Taste What’s Beyond,” will feature promotional activities like campaign videos, product collaborations, and pop-up events.
Bibigo’s strategy highlights the importance of connecting with younger audiences through a premier K-pop group. The company emphasized that Seventeen’s vibrant energy aligns with Bibigo’s brand identity, making them an ideal choice for the ambassador role.
On May 20, the campaign video will debut on Bibigo’s official global Instagram, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter) channels. This video will showcase Seventeen members enjoying various Bibigo products, including gimbap, hot dogs, and tteokbokki. Additionally, a dedicated microsite for the “Bibigo | Seventeen” campaign will launch on May 23.
Coinciding with the microsite launch, limited-edition Bibigo products featuring Seventeen’s team colors will be available for purchase through CJ CheilJedang’s official mall, CJ The Market, and the Olive Young online mall. During Seventeen’s 10th debut anniversary event, “B-DAY PARTY,” happening at Sebitseom in Seoul from May 23 to 25, Bibigo will set up a booth where fans can receive 20,000 limited-edition collaboration items.
Fans will also have the chance to join a “Stamp Tour,” collecting digital stamps at CJ THE KITCHEN in Seoul and exchanging them for Seventeen photo cards at the event.
A representative from CJ CheilJedang expressed optimism about the collaboration, noting, “We expect this partnership with Seventeen to help us engage more deeply with global consumers.” They also mentioned plans to expand the initiative internationally, with additional “Bibigo | Seventeen” products set to be released in markets like Japan and the United States later this year.
