Seventeen Makes History as the First K-Pop Artist to Perform at Jamsu Bridge
SEVENTEEN Celebrates a Decade with an Unforgettable Performance
To commemorate their ten-year milestone, the dynamic boy group SEVENTEEN electrified fans at Jamsu Bridge. The concert, dubbed ‘B-DAY PARTY: BURST Stage’, marked a historic moment as they became the first K-pop group to stage a performance at this iconic location.
The vibrant one-hour show attracted around 6,000 enthusiastic attendees. Notably, fans who couldn’t be there in person were still able to catch the live action, thanks to LED screens installed throughout Hangang Park, ensuring the celebration reached a wider audience.
This exciting event happened during the annual Car-Free Festival, a beloved local initiative held in Banpo-dong, which transforms the Jamsu Bridge area into a pedestrian sanctuary every Sunday. The festival, running for eight weeks and set to conclude on June 22, features an array of food trucks, engaging attractions, contests, and various performances, making it a lively weekend destination.
Among the highlights of the night, SEVENTEEN delighted their audience by introducing their new title track, “THUNDER,” from their upcoming album, leaving fans buzzing with excitement.
Anticipation is building as SEVENTEEN is scheduled to drop their fifth full album, ‘HAPPY BURSTDAY,’ on May 26, featuring this thrilling new release. The combination of their energetic live performance and the promise of new music has set the stage for what fans can expect in the coming weeks.
