Seventeen’s Mingyu and Hoshi Reunite with Samuel Kim for the ‘Rockstar’ Challenge

Fans were treated to a delightful surprise as Seventeen members Mingyu and Hoshi joined their little brother, Samuel Kim, for some exciting new content!

On May 22 KST, Samuel unveiled a series of “Rockstar” challenges featuring the loved-up duo. In his video with Mingyu, he expressed his joy, stating, “Make sure to watch until the end! This was fun to film thanks to my brother Mingyu hyung.” Meanwhile, in another clip with Hoshi, he energetically dubbed him “the coolest tiger out there!! Hoshi hyung let’s get it!!!!!”, showcasing their fun rapport and familial bond.

For those unfamiliar, Samuel Kim initially trained under Pledis Entertainment alongside Seventeen with hopes of debuting in the group. However, due to his young age, he was ultimately cut from the lineup. He later made a splash as a contestant on Mnet‘s popular survival show, ‘Produce 101‘ Season 2, before debuting in a different group. Samuel recently made waves again with his solo digital single, “Rockstar“, released on May 9 KST.

In exciting news for Seventeen fans, the group is gearing up for their own comeback, set to drop their highly anticipated fifth full album, “Happy Burstday“, on May 26 at 6 PM KST.
