Shin Dong Yup’s Side Clarifies Nipple Controversy Involving TXT

Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is facing backlash over a controversial trailer from the web variety show Zzanbro.

The controversy began when Zzanbro posted a trailer showing MCs forcing TXT’s Soobin to measure his nipple length. Soobin expressed discomfort, calling it “embarrassing.” Fans in Korea and abroad quickly reacted, criticizing the clip as “an inappropriate level of remarks and behavior, hard to view as content featuring idols.”

As the situation unfolded, the YouTube team re-uploaded a new trailer featuring Soobin and Beomgyu. This version highlights Shin Dong Yup showing affection for TXT and Jeong Ho Chul removing his shirt. All scenes involving nipple measurement, which sparked the backlash, were removed.

The Zzanbro team addressed the issue in a statement to Ilgan Sports on May 1:

“We revised the trailer and re-uploaded it. Since trailers often show only fun and provocative parts without context, misunderstandings seemed to have arisen.”

“The full episode will be uploaded as scheduled. However, to avoid concerns among Tomorrow X Together fans, problematic parts will also be removed from the full episode. After watching the full broadcast with all its context, viewers won’t find it problematic.”
