Bang Chan is catching attention for standing up at the 2025 Korea Grand Music Awards.

Stray Kids took home five trophies, including “2025 Grand Record” and “2025 Grand Honor’s Choice.” But it’s not just their wins making waves.

Fan cams went viral showing Bang Chan stepping in during group photos with AHOF, a rookie 5th gen boy group who won “Rookie of the Year” and “Best Dance Performance,” and UNIS, a 5th gen girl group.

A staff member tried to move AHOF from the front of the formation to the back to let UNIS take the front spot. Bang Chan quickly noticed and told the staff to move AHOF back to the front.

Bang Chan and AHOF’s Steven — both Australian idols — posed happily together after the incident.

Some fans think Bang Chan also acted to protect UNIS, since they were wearing skirts and moving forward might have made things uncomfortable.
