Since Spotify launched in 2006, it has grown into one of the world’s top music streaming platforms, and K-pop’s global influence has never been clearer. Topping the list is BLACKPINK with their digital single “JUMP,” which dropped on July 11, 2025. The group smashed records by debuting with an eye-popping 7.02 million streams, the highest for any K-pop act this year on Spotify. It’s another solid reminder why BLACKPINK remains the world’s biggest girl group.

Not far behind is aespa with their track “Dirty Work.” Released on June 27, 2025, as the title song for their first single album, the hip-hop dance number quickly rose up the charts both in Korea and internationally, debuting with 1.83 million streams. This places them as the second biggest K-pop debut this year.

The third spot belongs to ENHYPEN, the fourth-generation boy group under Belift Lab. Their lead single “Bad Desire (With or Without You)” from the mini album ‘Desire: Unleash’ launched with 1.67 million streams. This consistent streaming success shows ENHYPEN’s strong global fanbase continues to grow.

Right after comes TWICE, who released “THIS IS FOR” on July 11, 2025, as the title track from their fourth studio album. The song, performed completely in English with an empowering message, pulled in 1.62 million streams at debut, landing them in the fourth spot.

Sharing the same debut stream count of 1.62 million is the fictional boy group Saja Boys, who rose to buzzworthy status thanks to the Netflix animation film ‘KPop Demon Hunters.’ Their hit “YOUR IDOL” has quickly made waves on the Global Spotify Chart, proving their power despite being fictional characters.

From well-established global icons like BLACKPINK and TWICE, to the newer generation with aespa and ENHYPEN, and even fictional groups like Saja Boys, it’s clear K-pop is running the show when it comes to streaming numbers—and this year is no different.
