TWICE’s Momo Reunites with Sister Hana for a Dance on ‘Street Woman Fighter 3’ After a Decade
The July 1st episode of Mnet’s Street Woman Fighter 3 brought a special moment during the ‘Mega Crew Mission,’ especially for fans of K-pop and dance. Japan’s crew Osaka Ojō Gang had a surprise boost when TWICE’s Momo joined them on stage—not just because she’s a famous idol, but because her older sister Hana dances with that crew.
Hana, who’s a member of Osaka Ojō Gang, reached out to Momo with a simple invite.
"I asked my little sister Momo if she could dance with us, and she immediately said, ‘Of course, I’ll do it.’ It was one of those moments when I felt truly lucky to be Momo’s sister." Hana
Momo, known for her incredible dance skills in TWICE, stayed humble about joining the team, saying,
"I’m not sure if I’ll be of much help, but I’ll give it my best."
The support didn’t stop there—other TWICE members including Nayeon, Jihyo, Jeongyeon, and Sana turned up to cheer them on, showing a strong sense of team spirit.
The experience was more than just a brief reunion. Momo and Hana reflected on their past as dance partners, remembering how long it had been since they last danced together.
"I think it’s been about 10 years since my sister and I last danced together. We used to be on the same dance team when we were young. Every time our eyes met during rehearsal, it brought back memories. It’s been 10 years, but our chemistry still feels solid." Momo
During the mission, Fight Judge Park Jin Young instantly recognized Momo despite her attempt to hide behind a cap. He commented on recognizing her just by looking at her jawline, adding a touch of charm with his fond remark:
"That jawline looks like Momo’s." Park Jin Young
This episode was a cool blend of family ties and high-level dancing, showing fans that even top idols like Momo still find meaningful moments in their roots and family connections. The unexpected collaboration made the ‘Mega Crew Mission’ even more memorable and gave viewers a glimpse of Momo’s support system behind the scenes.
