TXT Soobin’s Appeal To Fans Ignites Intense Debate Over Fan Etiquette

TXT’s Soobin is facing backlash after calling out fans for invading his friend’s privacy.

The controversy began when TXT’s official channel posted a vlog on December 16, 2025 (KST) featuring Soobin and a non-celebrity friend. Soobin’s friend’s face was fully blurred out to protect his privacy.

But Soobin took a step further and publicly warned fans not to track down or contact his friend. He urged fans not to try interacting with his friends on social media either.

Soobin revealed some fans had already managed to find his middle school friends, which upset him. He pointed out how scary it must be for non-celebrities to be tracked by strangers.

He even warned that if this behavior kept up, it would be harder for him to be open with fans moving forward.
