TXT’s Taehyun Donates 25 Million KRW to Support Youth Arts Education on His Birthday

TXT member Taehyun marked his birthday on February 5 by donating 25 million KRW (approximately $17,000 USD) to the Community Chest of Korea’s Love Fruit campaign. The donation will fund arts and cultural education programs for underprivileged youth in marginalized areas.

Taehyun shared his motivation behind the contribution, stating, “I wanted to give back to my fans for their love, and I’m honored to participate in another donation this year.” He added, “Last year, I heard that my donation made a meaningful impact, which made me proud and led me to contribute again to the same cause.” The singer emphasized the importance of encouragement, saying, “I know how powerful support can be, and I hope this small gesture provides strength to those in need.”

This act of generosity aligns with Taehyun’s ongoing commitment to philanthropy. Last year, he made a similar donation to the same cause, further solidifying his dedication to supporting youth arts education.

Meanwhile, TOMORROW X TOGETHER has had a busy 2024, releasing two mini-albums: minisode 3: TOMORROW in April and The Name Chapter: Sanctuary in November. The group is also preparing for their upcoming world tour, ACT: PROMISE – EP.2, which kicks off on March 7-9 at Inspire Arena in Incheon, South Korea. The tour will include stops in Barcelona, London, Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, Tokyo, and Macau.
