V of BTS Breaks Another Record With Rapidly Growing Instagram Following
BTS’s V just hit a massive Instagram milestone.
On January 13, KST, V’s personal Instagram account, @thv, reached 70 million followers. That makes him the fastest person on Instagram ever to hit that number. He did it with only 150 posts.
V is now the most followed Korean male soloist on Instagram. He’s also the second-most followed male K-Pop artist on the platform, trailing only BTS as a group, who have 77 million followers.
V opened his Instagram in 2021 along with the rest of BTS. Since then, he’s set record after record, including fastest to 1 million and 10 million followers. He also holds the record for the most-liked Instagram post by a Korean public figure in 2025, with over 17.7 million likes.
