Well-Known Actor Discloses 15-Year Relationship

Kim Eui Sung opened up about his long-term love life and past divorces on SBS’s My Little Old Boy.

The veteran actor revealed he’s been dating his girlfriend for 15 years. She’s two years younger than him.

When asked about their secret to lasting so long, he joked,

“Maybe it’s about pretending you’re dead and staying still. You just have to endure somehow.”

Kim appeared with his Taxi Driver co-stars and shared his thoughts on dating later in life.

“I’m very much in favor of meeting someone when you’re older. When you’re young, you fight fiercely over things that aren’t really that big of a deal. But as you get older, you realize those are all things you’ve already fought about before.”

Despite two divorces in the past, Kim is now thinking about formalizing his relationship.

He said,

“My girlfriend and I once argued about not getting married. She wanted to build a proper family.”

He also added,

“As you get older, certain needs come up. If you get sick or something happens, there can be inconveniences, so we’re thinking about legal registration.”
