Well-Known GL Duo’s Promotional Video Allegedly Copies K-Pop Girl Group

LingOrm is facing plagiarism accusations over their latest promo video!

The controversy began when Thailand’s popular GL duo’s promo for HER & HERS LINGORM 1st FANCON dropped, and fans noticed it looked almost identical to Red Velvet – Irene & Seulgi’s “TILT” brand film from May 2025.

Channel 3 Thailand released LingOrm’s clip starring Sirilak “Lingling” Kwong and Kornnaphat “Orm” Sethratanapong. The duo rose to fame from the 2024 drama The Secret of Us and 2025’s Only You.

The promo’s black-and-white shots, dramatic shadows, and red-tinted scenes strongly mirror Irene & Seulgi’s visuals. Both videos open with nearly the same framing, and even the flower and flame imagery matches perfectly.

Fans aren’t buying the excuse.

Unintentionally? This is blatant plagiarism. You owe them much more than an apology, because doing something like this goes against professional ethics, and the team that worked on and developed this concept deserves to be properly credited. @RVsmtown pic.twitter.com/WPqPs3zfKq https://t.co/CGMbg5eqsF

“TILT” was already a bold, talked-about comeback film, making these plagiarism claims even bigger in the K-pop and GL fandoms.
