Wonyoung of IVE Purchases $10 Million Home Connected to Her Chaebol Friend

IVE’s Jang Wonyoung just made a huge move — buying a ₩13.7 billion KRW ($9.38 million USD) luxury villa in Seoul’s Hannam-dong UN Village. At only 21, this is her first big real estate purchase.
Records from November 12 show she bought a 244㎡ (2,626 sq ft) unit in the exclusive Lucid Haus complex last March, with ownership fully transferred last month.
What’s raising eyebrows? The property’s ties to the powerful Daelim Group. The seller was Lee Ji Yong, former CEO of Daelim Trading and heir to the DL Group conglomerate.
Lucid Haus was developed by Daelim D&I, founded by another DL Group heir, Lee Hae Sung. The unit sale was all cash — no mortgage recorded.
Jang’s connection to the Daelim family runs deep. She’s best friends with the DL Group’s fourth-generation heiress, Jules Lee Joo Young, and they’ve been seen together regularly.

The villa is super exclusive — only 15 units in two buildings, with 24/7 security, private elevators, killer views of the Han River and Namsan Tower.
Lucid Haus is a known celebrity hotspot too. Actress Kim Tae Hee owned a unit there from 2012–2018, turning a ₩2 billion KRW profit.
Born in 2004, Jang Wonyoung is IVE’s irreplaceable center. This year she’s landed huge ambassador gigs for Woori Bank, Malto, Binggrae, Dyson, and more.
IVE just ended promotions for their 4th mini-album IVE SECRET, making history with their first-ever 3-day solo concert at KSPO Dome — all sold out.
The singer’s latest bling and chaebol connections definitely have fans buzzing.
