Following the release of the single, BABYMONSTER won’t be taking a break—they’re set to unveil a mini album on October 1, featuring four new tracks. Among them is a slow hip hop piece that both Yang and the members cherish as their standout favorite. Although the title track remains a mystery, the opening song has been described as “powerful and cool,” ideal for kicking off a world tour.

Meanwhile, TREASURE has been busy making waves in the US and will soon release a mini album on September 1. Yang shared that he had a significant conversation with the TREASURE members about their previous year’s limited promotions. He assured fans that this year will see them much more active, with a world tour set to launch in October. They’ve even committed to releasing at least two mini albums or a full album each year moving forward.

In more exciting news, YG is actively working on new boy and girl groups. Two male teams, dubbed A Team and B Team, are in the pipeline, showcasing youthful talents with averages ages of 18 and 15-16, respectively. One of these groups is expected to debut next year.

Additionally, a new girl group is being formed, featuring four members whose introductions will be staggered. Yang hinted that solo projects for each member might come to fruition next year, citing their impressive chemistry as a key reason for the group’s composition.

Addressing previous concerns about delays in album releases, Yang explained that YG has restructured its management strategy. He acknowledged that allowing various YG artists to promote simultaneously would be a more efficient approach, rather than relying on a staggered release schedule.

Reflecting on past hesitations surrounding overlapping promotions for BABYMONSTER and TREASURE, Yang noted a shift in strategy moving forward. With this new direction, it seems YG is ready to accelerate artist debuts and embrace a more dynamic promotional landscape.

As these plans unfold, fans are eager to see how YG Entertainment continues to evolve and delight audiences worldwide. What are your thoughts on these upcoming releases and changes?
