Former ADOR Min Hee Jin Launches New Entertainment Company

Min Hee Jin is stirring up a new controversy with the launch of her entertainment agency OK.

The former ADOR CEO officially registered OK Co., Ltd. on October 16, about a year after stepping down from ADOR. This move comes as the court prepares to rule on the exclusive contracts of NJZ (ex-NewJeans) members by the end of October.

Industry insiders suspect Min is setting the stage to sign the group if the court sides with NJZ in their contract dispute against ADOR.

OK will handle celebrity management, music production, album distribution, and concert planning. Their office is near Garosu-gil, Sinsa-dong, Gangnam, with construction in final stages. Operations will begin once temporary approvals are granted.

Since HYBE ended its shareholder agreement with Min and sued to confirm the termination, Min faces little risk of violating any non-compete clause tied to that contract.

The key battle now is ADOR’s lawsuit against the five NJZ members trying to end their contracts. The court’s decision on October 30 will likely decide if NJZ can leave ADOR and potentially join Min’s new agency OK.

If NJZ wins, they could move to OK without issues. If not, legal troubles are inevitable.

“The company’s business scope includes celebrity management, music and album production and distribution, as well as concert and event planning and production.”

The situation remains tense with all eyes on the upcoming verdict. Fans and industry watchers are monitoring closely to see if Min Hee Jin will score a major win by recruiting NJZ to her new agency.
