$5000 USD Tickets? Shocking BTS World Tour Prices Spark Fury

BTS is facing controversy over their world tour ticket sales, especially for the Mexico City stop.

The controversy began when fans noticed tickets appeared on resale sites at sky-high prices immediately. Some resold tickets were listed even before the official presale started. This made fans question how scalpers got the tickets in the first place.

Many local fans reported serious issues trying to buy tickets during the Weverse presale. Surveys show only about 19-20% of Mexican ARMYs actually secured tickets, even though all dates sold out fast.

Ticketmaster Mexico has denied any wrongdoing. But fans shared stories of error messages, getting locked out, and seats disappearing at checkout. Many said the Mexico City presale was “suspicious from the start” compared to other cities.

As the situation worsens, resale prices are climbing into the thousands of dollars. Tickets bought for a few hundred are now being flipped for up to $6,000 USD—making the process feel unfair and almost random.

Fans are calling on BigHit Music and HYBE to investigate and crack down on scalpers.

I think some of you are not on the side of mexican armys but if you all think it was hard to get US tickets then you don’t wanna know how is going for them, Ticketmaster mexico sold tickets to re scalpers personally when this presale was only for the membership. This is crazy.

as a mexican army i ask armys around the world to help us, more than half of the tickets released on presale are being sold on reseller sites at crazy prices, they were being sold even before armys could access the presale #BTS_WORLDTOUR_MEXICOCITY

Evidence is everywhere. Weverse presale tickets sold out on the 3 dates of the #BTS_WORLDTOUR_MEXICOCITY however surveys on 2 Mexican Fanbases only 19% and 20% got a ticket. If MX-ARMY did not acquire any ticket, then who bought them? Yes, resellers.

I queued for Toronto, Stanford, and Mexico City, and man…Mexico City was suspicious from the start.

  1. Error msg: didn’t sign up for this pre-sale
  2. 5-10 minutes before pre-sale, I refreshed and got into the waiting room
  3. Seats shown as available, I wasn’t able to purchase+

Yeah this is crazy. So you’re telling me the ticket I got for 285 is now going between 1k to 6k in reselling sites??? This honestly was not only the most stressful ticket experience I had but also the most unfair one. I highly believe I got tickets by mere luck. Tm is a fraud

It was TM who gave the resellers those tickets. Help us spreading this so BH and HYBE can intervene. Those are nosebleeds for $2000 usd and VIP for $5000 usd. And no, it wasn’t because of the membership. It’s all TM’s doing. @HYBEOFFICIALtwt @BIGHIT_MUSIC @hybe_latam
