‘Single’s Inferno 5’ Cast Member to Join Kim Woo Bin in New K-Drama

Lim Su Been is making a big move from reality TV to drama.

The Single’s Inferno 5 star will join the cast of the upcoming baseball-themed K-Drama Gift alongside Kim Woo Bin.

SPOTV exclusively reported that Gift will air on tvN and is based on a webtoon about a coach taking over a last-place baseball team. Filming is set to start in the first half of 2026.

This role fits perfectly for Lim Su Been, who revealed on Single’s Inferno that he played baseball for 10 years before injuries ended his athletic career.

SPOTV also said Lim Su Been will keep focusing on acting after this project. He previously appeared in the MBC shortform drama A Head Coach’s Turnover under the stage name Cha Been.

His agency has not commented on the casting news yet.
