Mackenyu, The Zoro Actor From One Piece, Is A Daddy—Who Is His Wife?
Mackenyu is married and fans are out of luck if they hoped otherwise.
Netflix dropped all eight episodes of ONE PIECE: Into the Grand Line Season 2 on March 10, with Mackenyu back as the fierce swordsman Roronoa Zoro. The 29-year-old actor surprised fans with a serious body transformation this season.
Despite curiosity about the cast’s dating lives, Mackenyu tied the knot with a woman seven years older than him. She’s a former actress but keeps her profile low.
On the 2023 Japanese talk show A-Studio+, Mackenyu opened up about his wife.
“I definitely won the lottery in life. I’ve never met anyone as beautiful and as cute as her in my life. I say that every day. The first time I met her, I knew I immediately wanted to marry her.”

His marriage announcement came on January 22, 2023—the birthday of their late father, Sonny Chiba—alongside his younger brother Gordon Maeda’s marriage announcement.
In June 2023, Mackenyu and his pregnant wife were photographed together by Japanese media. She gave birth to their first child in Honolulu in late July 2023.
Fans will have to admire Mackenyu’s personal life from afar.
