Leading K-Drama Actress Erases Tattoo for Role
Lim Ji Yeon just revealed she finally removed her eyeliner tattoo after years of regret.
The actress spilled the news on tvN’s You Quiz on the Block. She got the eyeliner tattoo when she was around 20 during the semi-permanent makeup craze.
She said the tattoo never faded like it was supposed to. That meant she had it for much longer than planned.
Lim Ji Yeon admitted she put off removing it because the recovery process is tough.
“It swells up a lot when you remove it, so I couldn’t do it until now.”

She also said having the tattoo became inconvenient for her acting career. Makeup artists had to work around it for every character.
“For every character, they had to try to cover up the eyeliner. It became inconvenient, so I finally removed it.”
